The Elgin Owls basketball squad (Elgin, OK), was outscored 54-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Duncan Demons (Duncan, OK)

With the victory, Duncan advances its record to 6-6 on the year. The Demons host Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK) to meet the Panthers in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 9. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 4-5. Pauls Valley won 46-35 in their recent league battle against Bridge Creek (Blanchard, OK)

The Owls now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tecumseh for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 9. Elgin will meet a Savages squad coming off a 61-24 non-league win over Seminole (Seminole, OK). The Savages record now stands at 6-3.
