Next, the Demons clash with the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks (Maricopa, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon outing, on Thursday, January 9. Dysart will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Golden Hawks enter the outing with a 6-9 record after their 66-19 non-league loss to Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ).

The Buffaloes (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Cortez (Phoenix, AZ). The Colts enter the 4A Black Canyon outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Cortez was overwhelmed by Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ), 64-47, in a league outing.
