The Elma Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Tenino Beavers to 47 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now have a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Centralia for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Elma will confront a Tigers team coming off a 58-27 league loss to Tumwater (Tumwater, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Tenino falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Beavers host Hoquiam (Hoquiam, WA) to confront the Grizzlies in a 1A Evergreen game on Thursday, January 9. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Hoquiam lost 51-38 in their recent league challenge against Montesano (Montesano, WA)
