Texas High School Basketball - Timpson routs Elysian Fields

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Timpson Bears basketball team scored a big 63-15 triumph over the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets.

The Bears (12-12) will now prepare for their contest against Beckville (Beckville, TX). The Bearcats go into the 2A Region III District 23 contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Beckville smashed Waskom (Waskom, TX), 49-20, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Tenaha Tigers (Tenaha, TX) in a 2A Region III District 23 contest, on Friday, January 10. Elysian Fields will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 20-6 record after their 60-7 league win over Gary (Gary, TX).
