The Red River Roughriders basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Fargo North Spartans to 56 in the Roughriders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Roughriders now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Sheyenne for a AA East game on Friday, January 10. Red River will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 69-52 non-league loss to Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Fargo North falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Spartans host Fargo Davies (Fargo, ND) to confront the Eagles in a AA East game on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-2.
