The Patriots (5-12) will now prepare for their challenge against West Jones (Laurel, MS). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region 3 challenge with a 15-3 record. In their last challenge, West Jones defeated Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS), 50-20, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Terry Bulldogs (Terry, MS) in a 6A Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Jim Hill will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 53-26 league win over Hattiesburg (Hattiesburg, MS).
