In Tuesday's league contest, the host Franklin County Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 45-38 win over the Wesson Cobras.

The Bulldogs (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against South Pike (Magnolia, MS). The Eagles come into the 3A Region 7 test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, South Pike held off Jefferson County (Fayette, MS), 51-20, in a league test.

The Cobras (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS). The Blue Waves come into the 3A Region 7 test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Port Gibson was nipped by Jefferson County (Fayette, MS), 37-30, in a league test.
