In Tuesday's non-league test, the Hanahan Hawks (Hanahan, SC) basketball squad defeated the host Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC), by a score of 42-27.
Next, the Hawks clash with the North Charleston Cougars (North Charleston, SC) in a AAA Region 6 test, on Tuesday, January 14. Hanahan will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 0-13 record after their 102-9 non-league loss to Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC).
The Bulldogs (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Warriors come into the AAA Region 5 test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Waccamaw went down by Marion (Marion, SC), 39-37, in a non-league test.
