Minnesota High School Basketball - Goodhue overwhelms Pine Island

The Goodhue Wildcats basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Pine Island Panthers to 34 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now have a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hayfield for a A Section 1 game on Thursday, January 9. Goodhue will confront a Vikings team coming off a 57-56 league loss to Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Pine Island falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN) to confront the Cardinals in a AA Section 1 game on Friday, January 10. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 7-9.
