Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Governor Mifflin Mustangs (Shillington, PA), 50-48 in a league match.

With the victory, Reading advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Red KNights host Conrad Weiser (Robesonia, PA) to face the Scouts in a Berks County 2 match on Thursday, January 9. The Scouts enter the match with a record of 9-2.

The Mustangs now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cocalico for a non-league match on Friday, January 10. Governor Mifflin will face a Eagles squad coming off a 38-30 league loss to Ephrata (Ephrata, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
