Texas High School Basketball - Panhandle routs Highland Park

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Panhandle Panthers basketball team scored a big 74-11 triumph over the Highland Park Hornets.

The Panthers (16-3) will now prepare for their contest against Memphis (Memphis, TX). The Cyclones go into the 2A Region I District 2 contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Memphis was trounced by Clarendon (Clarendon, TX), 76-21, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Wheeler Mustangs (Wheeler, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 contest, on Friday, January 10. Highland Park will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record.
