The Indians (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Shannon (Shannon, MS). The Red Raiders come into the 4A Region 1 challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Shannon was routed by Mooreville (Mooreville, MS), 55-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) in a 4A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Ripley will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 17-0 record after their 65-23 league win over Amory (Amory, MS).
