In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Johnson Eagles basketball team scored a good 39-28 triumph over the University Charter Trail Blazers.
The Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Linden (Linden, AL). The Patriots go into the 1A Area 5 contest with a 2-11 record.
In their next game, the Trail Blazers confront the Choctaw County Tigers (Butler, AL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. University Charter will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 52-28 league loss to Marengo (Dixons Mills, AL).
