In Tuesday's league contest, the host LaFayette Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 31-26 triumph over the Reeltown Rebels.
The Bulldogs (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (Valley, AL). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Valley nipped Beauregard (Opelika, AL), 45-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Lanett Panthers (Lanett, AL) in a 2A Area 6 contest, on Thursday, January 9. Reeltown will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 11-6 record after their 42-36 league win over Loachapoka (Loachapoka, AL).
