With the victory, Murray County upgrades its record to 14-0 on the year. The Indians host Ringgold (Ringgold, GA) to face the Tigers in a AA Region 7 match on Saturday, January 11. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 8-7. Ringgold lost 56-35 in their recent league match against Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA)

The Warriors now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Murray for a AA Region 7 match on Thursday, January 9. Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe will face a Mountaineers squad coming off a 57-25 league loss to Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-10.
