The Lawrence County Cougars basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Sumrall Bobcats to 46 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Forrest County Agricultural for a 4A Region 7 game on Friday, January 10. Lawrence County will confront a Aggies team coming off a 61-57 league win over Columbia (Columbia, MS). The Aggies record now stands at 10-8.
