The Montague Wildcats basketball squad (Montague, MI), was outscored 44-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Ludington Orioles (Ludington, MI)

With the victory, Ludington advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Orioles travel to Orchard View (Muskegon, MI) to meet the Cardinals in a Western Michigan - Lakes battle on Friday, January 10. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 1-6.

The Wildcats now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manistee for a Western Michigan - Lakes battle on Friday, January 10. Montague will meet a Chippewas squad coming off a 37-27 non-league loss to Whitehall (Whitehall, MI). The Chippewas record now stands at 3-4.
