The Windom Eagles basketball team scored 86 points and limited the visiting Luverne Cardinals to 32 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now have a 14-1 record. They play next when they host Jackson County Central for a AA Section 3 game on Friday, January 10. Windom will confront a Huskies team coming off a 77-68 league win over Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Luverne falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Worthington (Worthington, MN) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 1-10. Worthington lost 105-40 in their recent league game against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN)
