North Carolina High School Basketball - Metrolina Christian Academy triumphant over South Charlotte

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) and the host South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC), observed Metrolina Christian Academy's basketball team overwhelm South Charlotte by a score of 72-43.

The Warriors (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC). The Stallions come into the non-league challenge with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, Greater Cabarrus Stallions was routed by Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy (Mooresville, NC), 58-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Thunder battle the South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars (High Point, NC) in a North Carolina Home Education - West challenge, on Thursday, January 9. South Charlotte will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 20-1 record after their 57-41 non-league win over New Life Camp (Raleigh, NC).
