The Bulldogs (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX). The Indians come into the 3A Region II District 15 challenge with a 14-12 record. In their last challenge, Grand Saline was tipped by Mineola (Mineola, TX), 51-18, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) in a 3A Region II District 15 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Mineola will attempt to better on its 13-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-15 record after their 46-39 league win over Eustace (Eustace, TX).
