The Simpson Broncos basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Negreet Indians to 42 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Broncos now have a 27-1 record. They play next when they travel to Leesville for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Simpson will confront a Wampus Cats team coming off a 57-35 non-league win over Pickering (Leesville, LA). The Wampus Cats record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Negreet falls to 10-11 on the campaign. The Indians host Florien (Florien, LA) to confront the Blackcats in a B District 3 game on Thursday, January 16. The Blackcats go into the game with a record of 14-8.
