Maine High School Basketball - Traip holds off Old Orchard Beach

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Traip Rangers basketball team scored a close 25-23 triumph over the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls.
The Rangers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dirigo (Dixfield, ME). The Cougars go into the C South contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Dirigo nipped Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME), 55-32, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Seagulls confront the Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Old Orchard Beach will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Flyers go into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 31-25 non-league win over Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME).
