Park Crossing Thunderbirds (Montgomery, AL) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL), 65-43 in a league match.

With the victory, Park Crossing advances its record to 21-1 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Russell County (Seale, AL) to face the Warriors in a 6A Area 3 match on Friday, January 10. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 9-8. Russell County won 60-24 in their recent league match against Rehobeth (Dothan, AL)

The Patriots now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rehobeth for a 6A Area 3 match on Thursday, January 9. Pike Road will face a Rebels squad coming off a 60-24 league loss to Russell County (Seale, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 5-14.
