Texas High School Basketball - Valley overwhelms Patton Springs

The Valley Patriots basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Patton Springs Rangers to 27 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now possess a 22-2 record. They play next when they host Spur for a 1A Region I District 8 game on Friday, January 10. Valley will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 64-20 league win over Paducah (Paducah, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-10.

With the loss, Patton Springs falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Motley County (Matador, TX) to confront the Matadors in a 1A Region I District 8 game on Friday, January 10. The Matadors go into the game with a record of 9-9. Motley County won 35-32 in their recent league game against Guthrie (Guthrie, TX)
