Next, the Lions encounter the Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 test, on Friday, January 10. Reedy will attempt to improve on its 18-9 season record. The Scots come into the test with a 14-11 record after their 70-19 league win over Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX).

The Lions (2-16) will now prepare for their test against Wakeland (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines come into the 5A Region II District 12 test with a 21-5 record. In their last test, Wakeland bounced Lone Star (Frisco, TX), 56-36, in a league test.
