In Tuesday's league test, the Wardlaw Academy Patriots (Johnston, SC) basketball squad defeated the host Richard Winn Academy Eagles (Winnsboro, SC), by a score of 46-30.
Next, the Patriots clash with the Curtis Baptist Crusaders (Augusta, GA) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 13. Wardlaw Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Crusaders come into the test with a 11-4 record after their 34-29 non-league win over Hammond (Columbia, SC).
The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their test against King Academy (Batesburg, SC). The Knights come into the SCISA 1A Region III test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, King Academy went down by Laurens Academy (Laurens, SC), 48-14, in a non-league test.
