In Tuesday's league contest, the host West Brook Bruins basketball team scored a big 81-23 win over the Sterling Rangers.

The Bruins (17-6) will now prepare for their contest against Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Titans come into the 5A Region III District 19 contest with a 4-15 record. In their last contest, Port Arthur Memorial smashed Nederland (Nederland, TX), 50-40, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Lee Ganders (Baytown, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 contest, on Friday, January 10. Sterling will attempt to better on its 5-17 season record. The Ganders come into the contest with a 10-11 record after their 45-38 league loss to Beaumont United (Beaumont, TX).
