The Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) ice hockey held off the host Guilford Grizzlies (Guilford, CT), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Cardinals now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stamford for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 9. Greenwich will encounter a Black Knights team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Black Knights record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Guilford moves to 1-2 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Hand (Madison, CT) to encounter the Tigers in a SCC outing on Wednesday, January 8. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 0-1.
