The El Diamante Miners basketball team scored 23 points and limited the visiting Monache Marauders to 20 in the Miners league triumph on Tuesday.

The Miners now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Mt. Whitney for a game on Thursday, January 9. El Diamante will play a Pioneers team coming off a 43-7 non-league loss to Liberty (Bakersfield, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Monache falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Marauders host Redwood (Visalia, CA) to play the Rangers in a game on Thursday, January 9. The Rangers go into the game with a record of 13-3. Redwood won 31-9 in their recent league game against Porterville (Porterville, CA)
