California High School Basketball - Liberty crushes Freedom

The Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) basketball crushed the host Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA), 56-15 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Liberty will play a Highlanders team coming off a 36-22 league loss to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Freedom falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA) to play the Pirates in a bout on Friday, January 10. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Pittsburg won 57-32 in their recent league bout against Emerald (Dublin, CA)
