The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Marathon Olympians (Marathon, NY) and the visiting Groton Red Hawks (Groton, NY), observed Marathon's basketball team knock off Groton by a score of 44-24.
The Olympians (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tioga (Tioga Center, NY). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Red Hawks encounter the Spencer-Van Etten Panthers (Spencer, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. Groton will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
