The Long Beach Bearcats soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Hancock Hawks to 0 in the Bearcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now hold a 11-2 record. They play next when they host George County for a 6A Region 4 bout on Friday, January 10. Long Beach will play a Rebels squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Hancock moves to 7-6 on the year. The Hawks travel to George County (Lucedale, MS) to play the Rebels in a 6A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 5-6.
