The Stevens Point Panthers ice hockey team scored 8 points and held the visiting Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Red Raiders to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now hold a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshfield for a bout on Thursday, January 9.
With the defeat, Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln moves to 0-1 on the season. The Red raiders travel to Tomah (Tomah, WI) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
