The Alchesay Falcons basketball squad (Whiteriver, AZ), was nudged 41-37 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Snowflake Lobos (Snowflake, AZ)
With the victory, Snowflake advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Lobos travel to Safford (Safford, AZ) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 9. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 1-0. Safford won 67-23 in their recent non-league battle against St. David (St. David, AZ)
The Falcons now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a battle on Friday, January 10. Alchesay will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 45-40 non-league loss to Monument Valley (Kayenta, AZ). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 0-2.
