In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Apex Friendship Patriots basketball team scored a good 58-43 triumph over the Apex Cougars.
The Patriots (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Catamounts go into the non-league contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Panther Creek topped Green Hope (Cary, NC), 53-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars confront the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) in a contest, on Friday, January 10. Apex will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 58-31 league win over Cary (Cary, NC).
