The C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons basketball squad (Pikeville, NC), was nudged 44-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC)
With the victory, South Johnston advances its record to 3-5 on the year. The Trojans host Hunt (Wilson, NC) to meet the Warriors in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 11-0. Hunt won 48-45 in their recent non-league battle against East Wake (Wendell, NC)
The Golden Falcons now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fike for a battle on Thursday, January 9.
