California High School Basketball - Yreka overwhelms Central Valley

The Yreka Miners basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Central Valley Falcons to 29 in the Miners league triumph on Tuesday.
The Miners now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Las Plumas for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Yreka will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 53-42 non-league win over Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 12-4.
With the loss, Central Valley falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Orland (Orland, CA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 9-5. Orland won 50-46 in their recent non-league game against Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA)
