The Cherryville Ironmen basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host East Gaston Warriors to 33 in the Ironmen non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Ironmen now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Bessemer City for a game on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, East Gaston falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Warriors host Shelby (Shelby, NC) to confront the Golden Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Golden Lions go into the game with a record of 1-1.
