The Rampants (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, West Carteret crushed Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC), 41-38, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, D.H. Conley falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Jacksonville won 45-43 in their recent non-league bout against Havelock (Havelock, NC)
