In Tuesday's league contest, the host East Wake Warriors basketball team scored a good 67-54 triumph over the West Johnston Wildcats.
The Warriors (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 10-0 record. In their last contest, Hunt topped Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC), 65-24, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. West Johnston will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Saints go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 65-24 league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC).
