In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host North East Carolina Prep Husky basketball team scored a big 81-29 triumph over the Hobgood Charter Raiders.

The Husky (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Riverside-Martin smashed Bertie (Windsor, NC), 51-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders confront the Northside - Pinetown Panthers (Pinetown, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Hobgood Charter will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 50-35 non-league win over Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC).
