The Royals now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Destin for a non-league game on Friday, January 17.

With the loss, Paxton falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Florala (Florala, AL) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 1-2. Florala lost 37-30 in their recent non-league game against Opp (Opp, AL)
