Next, the Wildcats clash with the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a test, on Friday, January 10. New Hanover will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Screaming Eagle come into the test with a 5-5 record after their 42-37 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC).

The Scorpions (7-5) will now prepare for their test against South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, South Brunswick went down by Laney (Wilmington, NC), 62-26, in a non-league test.
