The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) and the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), observed Sugar Creek Charter's basketball team knock off Queen's Grant by a score of 48-39.
The Wildcats (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Carolina International prevailed over Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC), 68-29, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Stallions encounter the Rock Hill Bearcats (Rock Hill, SC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, January 15. Queen's Grant will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
