Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Glendale Adventist Cougars (Glendale, CA) and the visiting Beacon Hill Gryphon (Camarillo, CA), saw Glendale Adventist's soccer squad hold off Beacon Hill by a count of 2-1.

The Cougars (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lighthouse Christian (Santa Monica, CA). The Saints enter the Omega battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Lighthouse Christian was edged by Beacon Hill (Camarillo, CA), 8-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Gryphon battle the Westmark Lions (Encino, CA) in a Omega battle, on Thursday, January 9. Beacon Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 9-1 league loss to Newbury Park Adventist (Newbury Park, CA).
