The Bulldogs now hold a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bogue Chitto for a 1A Region 7 bout on Thursday, January 9. Franklin County will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to North Pike (Summit, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Wesson moves to 2-4 on the year. The Cobras host Lawrence County (Monticello, MS) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Lawrence County won 7-0 in their recent league bout against McComb (McComb, MS)
