With the triumph, Hilo moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Hawaii Prep (Kamuela, HI) to clash with the Ka Makani in a non-league test on Saturday, January 11. The Ka Makani come into the test with a record of 3-1.

The Waveriders now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Honoka'a for a Big Island - West test on Thursday, January 9. Kealakehe will clash with a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Parker (Kamuela, HI). The Dragons record now stands at 3-3.
