The Dieterich Movin Maroons (Dieterich, IL) basketball knocked off the host Patoka Warriors (Patoka, IL), 42-34 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Movin Maroons (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Effingham (Effingham, IL). The Flaming Hearts go into the non-league test with a 6-11 record.
The Warriors now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host St. Elmo/Brownstown for a National Trail test on Friday, January 14. Patoka will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 64-50 non-league loss to Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 9-7.
