Indiana High School Basketball - Tri topped by Blue River Valley

The Blue River Valley Vikings basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Tri Titans to 30 in the Vikings non-league victory on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union for a Mid-Eastern contest on Tuesday, January 11. Blue River Valley will battle a Rockets team coming off a 72-46 non-league loss to Union City (Union City, IN). The Rockets record now stands at 5-7.

The Titans (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Northeastern (Fountain City, IN). The Knights come into the Tri-Eastern contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Northeastern prevailed over Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN), 36-27, in a non-league contest.
