The Galena Bears basketball team scored 35 points and held the host School of the Ozarks Patriots to 32 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bears now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hurley for a non-league contest on Monday, January 10. Galena will meet a Tigers team coming off a 55-38 non-league loss to Southern Missouri RUSH (Springfield, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 2-7.
The Patriots (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Billings (Billings, MO). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Billings nudged Verona (Verona, MO), 60-25, in a non-league contest.
